The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with a passion for delivering quality optical services and fostering a positive environment.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities of Walmart Vision Center Manager:\n• Drive sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing accuracy, inventory management, and community trend analysis.\n• Model and enforce customer service standards, providing guidance to associates for resolving member issues within company guidelines.\n• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associate involvement.\n• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies by analyzing reports, managing asset protection, and implementing safety and quality assurance measures.\n• Supervise and develop associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and promoting diversity awareness.\n• Consult with members to provide quality eyewear solutions, verify prescriptions, and maintain confidential information and optical equipment.\n• Implement and support the Open Door Policy by addressing associate concerns and fostering open communication.\n• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet business objectives, measure progress, and drive continuous improvement.\n• Promote a culture of respect, integrity, customer focus, and excellence aligned with company values.\nQualifications and Experience of Walmart Vision Center Manager:\n• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year of retail experience combined with 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year of optical experience.\n• High school diploma or equivalent.\n• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws and regulations.\n• Preferred: Experience supervising associates.\nBenefits of Walmart Vision
